What are people going to do if Trump is re-elected for another 4 years? It's plausible this will happen by virtue of their democratic voting system. Not sure Biden can keep saying it's a war against good and evil, light and dark. People want a little more detail than that but I doubt detail will be Biden's strength in the presidential debates.

The polls are rarely reliable sources of voter intention - so this will be an interesting few months.

I doubt Boris will be going anywhere for the next few years - he was given a mandate and it's likely he will see it through and go for a second term.

Is this universally popular - probably not but then people have had to accept leaders they personally didn't vote for.

We moved to Spain and into our new Spanish home less than a month before the Brexit referendum.  Six months later, Trump won the US election.  For me, 2016 is the year that changed the world as I knew and loved it.  Despite the continuing battles in foreign lands - social, economic, military - to me, the world felt relatively stable and safe back then.  But since Brexit, US trade wars with China, the rise of Russian interference in the West and, of course, Covid-19, it feels like the world has been knocked off its axis.  So for me, all bets are off - the last 3 and a half years haven't killed my hope, they just mean I don't rule out anything 😉

Trump is basically saying the even though he uses postal vote, votes for other party by post will be used to pinch the election

So will he declare the election void and as Commander in Chief stay on in post and it become some form of dictatorship
