Our little dog was being fed with a special Renal Insufficiency dog food.

Unfortunately she died this week, at 16 years old, and so we have around 10 x 410gr cans of the dog food left over and wondered if anybody whose dog has the same problem would like them.

Free to anyone who would like to pick them up from us in the Villena, Las Virtudes campo. We may have some of the croquettes, too.

Hi,

Sorry to hear about your pooch, she lived to a good age and is probably having a riot in doggie heaven!

If they have a local animal rescue and you can get to it I'm sure they would be so grateful for it.

Thank you very much for your suggestion.

I did speak to someone today who is involved with a rescue centre and I will give the food to them as they often have to buy this special type for animals they rescue.

Thank you again.

Kind regards,

Janice

Hi Janice,

So sorry to hear about your woof - it's no different to losing any other family member - and even though we know we're likely to outlive them, it doesn't make it any easier.  Lovely idea to donate the unused food - I'm sure it will be very gratefully received.

Best wishes,

Kim

Thank you, Kim.

Yes, you are perfectly right. A dog can become very important in our lives, particularly when, like my daughter, she grew up with our little friend.

It will please her no end to give this food to a rescue centre so it can be of help to them.

Thank you for commenting.

Kind regards,

Janice
