I do not drive and live about 12km outside Gandia. I would like to get the bus there from my village (villalonga) but would also like to take my medium sized dog. Are dogs allowed on the buses please?

Not sure if it’s the same  in all areas but dogs are not allowed on buses in Torreviega.

I’ve found that dogs are usually not permitted to travel on buses, the exception being assistance dogs.

Dogs (except guide dogs) and other pets are not permitted on ALL public transport (trains, taxies etc.)

Suggest you ask the company that runs the buses in your area.
