Afternoon, all......... having a bathroom fitted and need a 80l electric tank to replace the old highly dangerous gas boiler. Is there any advantage in terms of water pressure to the shower if we get the new tank placed high up? Or does location not affect water pressure?

We replaced our gas boiler to a new  electric boiler a few months ago.

The new one is  situated in almost the exact same area.     No change in the usual very good water pressure.

But great improvement in now having constant warm water for duration of showers.

Plus the added bonus of remaining water staying warm in the boiler for several hours due to the good insulation in the new boiler.

Small domestic electric water heaters are generally mains water fed, with an expansion/safety valve fitted on the inlet. Location does not determine pressure.
