Buying American Dollars

Does anyone know where I can buy American dollars apart from a bank ?
You won't get it at a bank. There are plenty of currency dealers around. Look for a Eurochange and I see on a quick search there is one in Gran Alacant and a couple in Santa Pola.
There is an Eurochange in La Zenia as well where we exchanged US dollars for Euro.

If you register with https://wise.com/ you can easily convert from euros or GBP to dollars and then spend them using your Wise card. But if for some reason you need physical bank notes in UK/Spain that won't help you!
If you are visiting the USA then your Wise card could be used to withdraw cash at ATMs.
