Hi, we are booked to come to Gran Alacant on 19th July and while we had accepted our holiday wouldn't be happening, the situation keeps changing. I was just wondering how it is all looking from the Gran Alacant side, we would be travelling from Scotland if it goes ahead.

What is the restaurant/bar etc situation likely to be ?...

...

Hi Jaybee, Who are your flights with in July  ?, I have a Ryanair flights booked for August and September but the August flights  were cancelled over this weekend (from Stansted)

Mbray,

Is there another flight still going on the same day?

I think they are trying to cut the number of flights so that the flights are fuller?

Just had a look , they appear to have cut down to only one flight per day, (in the morning) we were on the evening flight , have to look at my options , may still be able to make it.

Hi Treezy,

I've just read a Reuters' headline quoting the Spanish Health Minister as saying they are not currently in talks with the UK to create an airline "corridor" with Spain.  I'll find the full article and see if it includes anything else of interest.

Kind regards,

Kim

Taken from the La Moncloa Facebook page:

Government regulates new normal after coronavirus pandemic

Moncloa Palace, Madrid, Tuesday 9 June 2020

Salvador Illa pointed out that some of the measures are not new, but extend those adopted during the state of emergency, such as those on prevention and hygiene which, he reiterated, are key for halting the spread of the virus.   Specifically, he referred to the cleaning of public and private spaces, the frequent washing of hands, maintaining social distancing of at least 1.5 metres and the compulsory use of face masks in public thoroughfares, in the open air and in interior public spaces, as well as on transport. Henceforth, on land and air means of transport, operators that work with pre-assigned seats will have to conserve passenger records for a minimum period of four weeks, highlighted Salvador Illa, "to guarantee the traceability of contacts in the event of positive cases".

Hi Treezy,

This Telegraph report references the Reuters' report, but it has a little more information than the original, so I thought I'd attach it instead:
