Hi,
Does anyone know if taxis provide child seats?. Can you hire child seats from car hire companies and do older children require booster seats and to what age?. Any advice/info welcome please.

Hi, I was looking into this too for my son and grandchildren. Car Hire companies will hire car seats too, but it's not cheap. You could buy second hand ones from FaceBook MarketPlace (and sell them again when you've finished using them). You can also bring them on flights free as hold luggage if you have children - but the worry is they could get damaged. This is all I've found out so far so please let me know of any economical ways that you find out. Mary x

I bought these for my grandaughters for when they go travelling as packing car-seats/hiring car-seats can be an expensive 'hassle'. They have used these 'back-pack/booster seats' for around 4 years and are now aged 8 and 6 and will likely be using them for the next few years too! Hope these might be suitable for you.
