Water Hardness

I'm going around in circles on the Hydraqua web site. Hopefully somebody knows the water hardness for the Monte-y-Mar area? I need to set my new dishwasher. Thanks in advance for any help.

It may well vary depending on the condition of the pipes in your home, so wouldn’t have thought the water supplier would be much help.
Try using an either a test kit or test strips to give a reading for your dishwasher supply. The strips are around 6€ a pack.

Thanks so much for your reply. No doubt the strips would work but I think that they are principally intended for well water. I think that Hidraqua's water treatment plants treat water to a known, continuously maintained standard but it does vary by area (plant). The say they publish this information on their website but it just goes around in circles, never actually getting to the hardness value! They also say that you can email them through their website for the information. But in the end I'll probably do as you suggest - thank you for taking the time to respond :)

The test strips are also for measuring tap water. I got some with my coffee machine so I could set the level and, everywhere in the Alicante province, it is hard to very hard.
