Hi All,

We have some friends visiting our property in Gran Alacant who arrived today. They have turned the hot water boiler on and the water isn`t getting warm at all. The power light is on so no issue there - the boiler was inly replaced just before the pandemic and is perhaps 3 years old at the most and as not been used often at all over that period so almost brand new. The boiler was purchased from Euronics on GA and fitted by them. Can anyone suggest a really reliable and trustworthy plumber to help them out.

Thanks

Rob

I would phone or go down to Euronics, they would probably send someone out to have a look, especially as it was bought from them

The boiler presumably needs it's sacrifica anode and heating rod to be replaced, not mre than 20,- Any technician most probably will tell you that it is cheaper to buy a new unit.

Perhaps a stupid remark here but have they checked the thermostat on the boiler first in case it has been turned low. My hubby once set it back to zero on leaving to "ensure it was off" forgetting I had already unplugged it!!.

Surely they last more than 3 years?? Are last boiler ran perfectly well for 14 years and the latest boiker is far more advanced than the first one.

Wow, that’s quite an amazing fault diagnosis there Killjoy, from afar too!
