Hi,
Is there anyone who applied for residency during 2021 and were successful using FAB - Foreign Advisory Bureau Gran Alacant?
I’ve been advised that my appeal has been rejected due to my health insurance date but I know people who were successful with their health insurance date starting in March this year.
Any help or advice would be much appreciated

Sorry to hear this. You're certainly not alone - the other favourite reason for rejecting applications is that the Certificado de Empadronamiento ("Padrón") is dated on or after 1 January 2021. Neither of these should be an acceptable reason for rejecting residency applications, so long as you can prove you were you living in Spain before 1 January 2021 with evidence of regular transactions through a Spanish bank account, for example, paying for food shopping, cash withdrawals, paying utility bills, etc. Out of interest, what are the issue dates of your Padrón and Private Health Insurance?
I've not heard of FAB Gran Alacant - what are they advising you is the next step?
