I assume that you know about the rules and regulations regarding visas, income and healthcare requirements for making the move to Spain?

Hi Steve,

I still have to investigate the visa process as the relatives we have in Spain moved pre brexit, but just wanted to hear if anyone had completed the move with older children and how they settled.

Thanks,

Carly

Before worrying about what might happen IF you are able to move over you really need to look at the visa requirements as things have changed considerably since Brexit. If you don't qualify...end of.
The older your teenagers are the harder it will be unless they already speak Spanish so you would be looking at a private international school and private medical insurance for all.

Hi Carly

We moved over back In October 2020 and our son is now 15. He does like living here but Im still trying to help him out in regards to making friends. Hes not got any really, it seem that unless you hang out on the streets, teenagers don't have lots to do, I mean the beach etc is here but finding like minded teenagers is harder.

Are you moving over?

Many thanks

Sian
