Hi, I have visited guardanar on many occasions and love the town, however this year I will be bringing my 38 year old neice who would like to be able to go to bars etc with a little music in the evenings (not a night club). Am I better staying in Guardamar or Torriveja, happy to go self catering or hotel. Any recommendations really appreciated. Thank you 😁 xx

I can't comment on Guardamar, but there's (almost) always live music to be found just to the south of Torrevieja - Punta Prima/Playa Flamenca/La Zenia/La Florida/Cabo Roig.
You just need to know where to go.

I would have said the Torrevieja area would be better. I hadn't been to Guardamar for a few years until recently. I was surprised how quiet it was apart from the park area. I know it is out of season but nowhere was open and the streets are awash with for sale signs.

Over from la marina urb bus to benidorm for sat night also bars doing karaoke enjoy

If you are talking about high season, Torrevieja will suit perfectly. Down by the pier, you’ll find Nicky Beach and numerous other late night venues. There’s also a street which our kids used to call PUB STREET as there were endless bars and night life entertainment establishments. There’s a very popular late night bar called TANGO which is open all year round I’m sure there are numerous venues that your niece would enjoy.
