Hi, we acquired our property on 31 December 2022 in Guardamar. Can anyone tell me when the local council tax/suma is due to be paid?

When you bought your property did the solicitor arrange all your bill payments with your bank? Ours did.
I think it's due in November, but it can be paid earlier if you want to go to the office in person.
You will get a bill in your post box for Suma. It can be paid at Suma office on Carrer Luis Riviera, if you haven't had the payment already set up. . The Suma office is in the centre of town, on the next street down from tourist information. They are very helpful & will give you all the advice you need.

IBI payment window for this year is 25th July to 10th October.
If your direct debit hasn’t already been set up by your solicitor then call in to the SUMA office to set up a direct debit. It may already be too late for this year, but at least you’ll be ready for next year. They’ll also take an email address from you, so you get your bills by email.
Nearer the time you’ll see posters up everywhere advising the exact date the DD payment is taken, it’s usually in the last few days of the payment window.
Follow the ayuntamiento on Facebook or check out their website as all this information is posted on there.
