...The opposite is true in summer so a covered terrace, awnings or shutters are a bonus to keep inside cool. Don’t allow yourself to be rushed, there are lots of properties.
Make a checklist of what’s really important for you, and what’s a’ nice to have’ but not essential.

All posts sofar have been very good advice. The URB La Marina has it all and only a short drive to the beach.
We only very recently moved hear and love it.
We found a very good solicitor who has been quick and efficient plus not too badly priced.

There are more local restaurants, bars and shops than you can visit in an average holiday stay. Plus doctors and vets ect that all speak English...
