Have you spoken to your insurance company, they should sort it out for you. If you start a repair yourself or call out someone who is not approved by them, you will have to pay yourself.

That may not be completely accurate. We have had to claim twice from Liberty Seguros, once for a leak in our own house and once through my mother’s insurance for a flood when her house was unoccupied as she was in hospital. On both occasions they requested a detailed estimate, which HAS to show the firm’s tax registration number, and they paid with no quibble.
