if you're responsible for the water and electricity bills I think you will as these will come out DD and you'll need a NIE

The utilities will almost certainly need to be paid by DD. So you will need a bank account. Budget around 10e  per mth bank costs if you open an account

Hello

Unfortunately not.

Option one.

Open a Spanish Bank Account

Option two

Open a Euro holding account in a UK bank. Some utilities still don't like this.

Option three

The landlord keeps the utilities in their name and you them cash each month for the bills

Couldn't you just go to a Spanish bank with the bill and pay in cash over the counter?

We pay all our bills in cash to our Landlord each month, best way 😊
