Does anyone have recommendations for tax advisors for USA expats knowledgeable in income tax on local and federal US government pensions, and Spanish property tax and other local taxes ?  Any recommendations? Thanks :)

Your Embassy should have references.

Hello, there are very few USA expats in the area, my wife is American and we had the same issues but we have used Tax for Expats at www.tacs4expats.es and found them very good for the combination of US and Spanish taxes.  They also helped make sure our wills were properly written to take into account the Spanish and US system.

The residency process can also be very tedious with Apostile documents required from the US.  If you have any questions on our experiences then please send us a message!
