First. I’ve got a second generation firestick which IPVANISH VPN does work with, but the question I was asking is about whether anyone has managed to get over the problem I’m experiencing with viewing BBC iPlayer whilst in Spain?

Second. That’s a very good question from paulsav above about free roaming in Spain after brexit. Like to know whether disguising your location to the UK would work.......anybody have any thoughts about this?

Thanks Pete, wasnt sure vpn would be relevant. Have phoned my UK provider(Tesco) but they couldnt tell me what they were doing after Brexit, they,re waiting for the outcome, only 2 providers have guarranteed free roaming, 3 and Smarty(3 too).Coming to Spain again for 3mnths in March, dont want to be shocked with expensive phone use.

Pete,

I used Tesco for 11wks last year continuously, April-June, then mnth in October and 2wks Nov in Tenerife. As we,ll be coming on March 23rd(b4 Brexit) and returning June, just dont want to be unprepared.

Thanks

Pauline.

Thanks Pete, I can only think because I could use upto 12gb mnth, and was using only 5/6gb mnth(virtually no phone calls) they didnt consider I was using enough to warrant a ticking off.lol. Actually providing they dont change things, we could use 1phone for 2mnths and other for last mnth providing we keep 2nd one off. I am waiting for nearer time to get IDP,s  and our passports are ok. Only need to get cover for international breakdown(taking own car) and that just left phone use.

Regards

Pauline.
