Hi I will be moving into my little house November 

Is it a good idea to bring a TV from UK or buy when I get there ..is there  a system to have broadband to only pay for what you use as I will be coming and going to UK..

Will need a new  kitchenette  fitted ..and more

any recommendations please

Hi Anne and welcome to the forum.

Re your tv , it depends if you are moving over lots of personal items by van  than yes it may be worth sending it over. It also depends on the age of the set on how much import tax you would have to pay. It would also need to be well packaged to protect from potential damage. 

By the time you’ve paid the taxes it’s probably more feasible to buy another one here.

Broadband packages are available on a switch on/off basis, but most non restend to buy a yearly TV subscription package  and take it backwards and forwards to the U.K.

Don’t make any immediate decisions on changing things in your property until you’ve lived there for a while. It’s a totally different way of living here in Spain.

Hi Annie. Just for info, you can buy a 50" 4k smart tv for under 300 euros here, and with Black Friday on Nov 25th, probably even cheaper. Unless you've kept all the original packaging, including the foam dividers, I really wouldn't want to transport one considering the delicacy of the screen
