Hi,  I wish I,d seen this ad 2wks ago, just bought a Seat Ibiza, 2001 with 180,000kms for 1200€. Yours looks a bargain with such low mileage (hopefully genuine) though you havent stated its year. Have a friend also looking for cheap runaround, so what year is it please?(could be a little small but will show your ad). Dont let yourself be robbed there's loads of people always looking for low price runarounds.You could also do a search on this forum for people recently posting a "wanted a car" ad as it took me weeks to find one in that price range that suited me

Thanks for your message. The car is 2002. Let me know if friend interested as it is a great little runabout. I thought seriously about taking it back to England but with it being left hand drive and having to get english registration it doesn't make sense.

I wont see my friend till next Tuesday unfortunately(dont have any contact info, we meet up for a Ladies coffee morning once a week) but she has children so boot room important, but wasnt for me, I needed a short car cos of oil fuel tank in garage taking space up.

Thanks for the reply. From what you have told me, this car may be too small. It worked brilliantly for my wife and I because if we were loading up for the beach we could just drop the backseats. it sounds as if your friend  needs a family size car.

I agree the mileage is amazing and from what I can see from the documentation I have it appears to be totally true.

We are still classed as "tourists" here I think, as we drove over and are renting for 6 months to see if we are staying, but we are hoping to, so looking in to sorting out new bank account, NIE etc. etc.as we speak so don't know how easy transferring the ownership and insuring the car will be without that?

Price wise, I'm close to max, as a few hundred more would get me a newer larger car, all be it I had a wee Matiz years ago and they are good wee cars for what they are...
