Protection again latest ransomware attack

I first heard about this latest bug on the news last night.

If you want to protect yourself, go to:

https://www.bleepingcomputer.com/news/security/vaccine-not-killswitch-found-for-petya-notpetya-ransomware-outbreak/

Read all about it, then do what it says - the easiest way is to download the batch file, then right-click on it and run as administrator.

The files it creates are totally innocuous, so need need to think you're doing anything iffy.

No, it's Windows only. That's the main target, as there are a lot of Windows systems out there, many of them old and more vulnerable than Windows 10.

I know some Apple systems have been attacked, but I thought Apple were pretty good at updating their software as soon as a threat vector is identified.
