I'm sad to say that 28% of those asking questions didn't even respond, let alone say thanks or click the button.

I'm always willing to try and help, but I'm not going to waste time trying to help people who in my opinion are deficient in good manners, so I've created for myself a personal black list.

I'm definitely not trying to deter people from posting questions, but please, please, at least acknowledge any help you are offered.

I don't know what others do, but I open all new posts in separate tabs, then run through them. When doing so, I don't pay any attention to which sub-forum they're in, and without looking at the posts count, I might not spot that someone is posting for the first time....
