Lost: Lost dog seen by golf course

Lost dog seen by golf course in Rojales, along Calle Zeus, Calle Belen, this morning (10th May) around 9.30 am. The dog is medium to large size, brown, like a greyhound type, wearing a collar and very thin. He or she was extremely distressed, howling and whimpering and clearly looking for someone but would not come to me. I went inside to get my shoes to follow it but it had disappeared. I spent about an hour looking for it but could not find it and I suspect it may have gone uphill in the opposite direction to the shops/restaurants where I looked. If anyone is looking for a lost dog of this description please inform them where it was seen today.
