Hello everyone, its me again with more questions.

Q1.  Where do we have to go to register as new citizens?

Q2.  Where do we go the register for healthcare?

Q3.  Which bins on the streets have which rubbish?

Q4.  What is a NIE number and do I need one?

Kind Regards

Jai

If you haven't even got an NIE number, then this must be your first job. It's essential for anything you want to do in Spain - buying or renting a property, opening a bank account, buying or renting a car, etc etc.

You can't get residencia until you are permanent residents in Spain and, like the NIE, you do this at a national police office.

You can't get onto the local town hall electoral register until you have residencia.

You register for healthcare at an INSS office, and for that you either need an S1 issued by the DWP at Newcastle, or be working in Spain and paying social security contributions.

Grey bins have general refuse; yellow have plastic and metal; blue have paper; green have glass.

I suggest you spend some time searching this or other forums, or Googling. All the information is freely available - no point asking questions which have already been answered many times already.

Hi jmatt75, if you head up to Consum square there is a small office their next door but one to the Kumar indian restaurant, if you pop in their and speak to them they will be able to assist you with all your enquiries.
