Hi Sezela,

"No discussion about grants for solar panels for domestic user tv"

So why don't you ask about those things on the forum?

You could start a meaningful discussion about any subject as the forum is not just about La Nucia!!

You have only made two posts so not really got involved have you.......

OK, this is getting silly, the easy way to "unsubscribe" is two (Maybe 3) simple steps, 1, logout, 2, don't log back in, 3 (maybe?) if you're receiving emails you don't want, go into Edit your account and settings, then change notification settings, and finally change your email notification sett...

...ings and turn them off.

The only emails I receive is when I get a PM, but I chose to leave that in place.

So in other words there is no way of unsubscribing?

There will be a way of unsubscribing, try and work it out for yourself as you’re the one who wants out

Aitch.

Elinspain has given you a perfectly good link for unsubscribing from the forum. Have a look at her post.

Easiest way is delete the app and move on.......

I think you are just on here for an argument.......grow up!!!

I live in La Nucía - so that’s why I joined this forum.  There is a lot happening at the sports centre as an example which I would like to hear more. What about the huge roadworks happening C70 and into the village itself. No info on that!!  There is a push for solar panels in the ar...

...ea and grants for this and even subsidies in Calpe for instance. What is the story on solar in La Nucía. I found your answer rather rude and not necessary to join every form in the area because it’s the same advertising!  So  if this form is just about advertising and that is the only answer you can give, please remove me from it!

I’m shocked with your remarks and comments.  The first thing you have to realise is that this forum isn’t a newspaper. If you want information about road works in your area then it might be a very good idea to post that very question and then another forum member might see fit to reply. I hate to say this but you sound like you are living on another planet. If you’ve been sitting in iLa Nuncia reading this forum day and daily and hoping to read something interesting about your sports centre, the road works and all the things you are interested in then you must be very disappointed.  Start by posting issues that concern you. Others may reply. They may not of course but you won’t know until you try.

Hi Sezela,

I'm sure you realise that you've upset some members, so I thought it worth reiterating one of Dazz's comments, that this forum is "a public discussion board, where people choose to help one another in their spare time for free."

So, here's something I've chosen to do for you, in my spare time, for free: you wanted to know what happens at La Nucia's sports centre - all the information is available on your Town Hall website:

https://www.lanucia.es/Deporte

If you don't speak Spanish, open the link above in Google's web browser and it will give you the option to translate the content to English.

Now that I've helped you, perhaps you could return the effort by finding out what's happening with the CV-70 roadworks and posting it on the forum for the benefit of other members?

By the way, please don't worry yourself about the survival of Costa Blanca Forum - in the 5 years I've been a member, the numbers have increased from 39,000 members to more than 52,000, so it looks like many of us appreciate the contributions of our fellow members.

Kind regards,

Kim

I have used the forum many times since joining in the last 12 months.

I find it extremely informative and useful, and am grateful for everyone's support and advice during the time in which I have purchased an apartment.

Not all the responses have been useful but they have come from a kind place.

Most of you have helped a great many people and hope you keep doing so and ignore the negative comments.

If I could, I would have a separate site for items to buy/sell but no real hardship to pass over them.

Thank you for all the help and advice. I will no doubt need much more in the future.

Hi,I must say I’m not a regular form user. But when we where buying our holiday home some years back it was invaluable. We had so many questions answered. We are Irish, we met some great friends of all nationalities . That we still meet and interact with. We found nice restaurants and bars to socialise. It’s great to have somewhere to ask a question as we did. Many as it so happens and get positive information. We owe a lot to the forum and certainly would want it available in the future. As has been said if u don’t like it leave . It’s like a tv programme ,if it offends or not suitable .TURN IT OFF.

Hi

Had to smile at your 'request' to be removed from this extremely uninteresting and uninformative website (although how its managed to keep going all these years with thousands of subscribers is beyond me)!!

I think the best way to 'remove' yourself from this is the next time you receive an email with up to date information, do what I do with all the junk emails I get on a daily basis, and prior to opening, just press delete.  Et voila - its gone !!

For the record, I find it very informative and keeps us up to date on local matters as we have a home in Pinar de Campoverde but currently live in the UK.

:)
