Where can I buy furniture around the area?

Good morning!

Completion for our house purchase is finally going through next week! We have bought a house on the outskirt of La Romana in Algayat.

My husband and I are coming over for a couple of days at the end of the month to collect the keys from our solicitor ect. During our short visit, we would like to furnish the house as much as possible before we bring our children early in the new year. Could anyone please recommend second hand shops ect.....?
Also is there somewhere similar to Argos in the UK where we could buy and collect mattresses (rather than having to wait for a delivery).

Any advice on the best way to fully furnish the house would be greatly appreciated.

Almoradi is a ‘furniture town’ with so many big stores on the main road in.

just be aware of opening times as the often close between 2 and 5pm but stay open later

I have a very good quality sofa and four chairs for sale advertised on market place. They were bought from an upmarket furntiure shop and only 6 months old so are a bargain.

'On the main road in' just depends from which direction you are coming!! The road in question is the one between Almoradi and Dolores.

you will find furniture , electrical shops nearer to you in Aspe, Novelda or Crevilente rather than drive 3/4 hr to torrevieja

When you pass Aspe on thre CV84 you come across a large shopping centre near leroy merlin on the outskirts of Elche ( similar to La Zenia boulavard )
