Hi Harvest,

Well, that was the biggest lie of all, wasn't it?  "Leaving the EU will enable us to take back control" - as you say, we always had control, irrespective of our EU membership.  I do remember though, about 3 months ago, thinking I'd found a Brexit benefit - just wish I could remember wha...

...t it was, LOL! ;o)

Kind regards,

Kim

The only brexit benefit that I and another have observed is that there are far fewer  no mot vor untaxed un insured uk vehicles on the road here

Just out of interest, do you go around checking if a UK car is untaxed and has no MOT and insurance?

Hi everyone
Maybe it’s been asked before but can anyone name me a single benefit from Brexit?

What a waste of a forum space….

To be honest, I've checked three recently. The owners live close to me and the cars have been here for years. None of them taxed or with mot.

I was going to ask what made you check but then I thought maybe it was because the cars had been there for years not disappeared back to the UK (for a MOT).  Do the owners actually use the cars?

Brexit has come and gone. Can people not find another subject. This stupid poll will only start the fighting again.

It's a bit like covid, you think it has died out then suddenly another outbreak out of nowhere. I rarely hear much about brexit here in the UK, but it's a regular topic on this forum.

Then one may simply type-in "brexit news" UK or international press. (today for eg:)

I suppose if I wanted to go looking for anything I can find it by searching on google, why would I want to do that............

On here brexit comes up regularly without having to look.

I was not suggesting your reading news-worthy interests, only that you mentioned ["I rarely hear much about brexit here in the UK"].

There seems to be much interest in this ongoing 7 years subject.
