...ey were optimistic at best, but I doubt any of us could have foreseen the detail of the full, negative impacts of Brexit. For example, the loss of "passporting rights" for our Financial Services industry and how that has disadvantaged many UK citizens, whichever side of the debate you sit; the additional costs of doing business with our largest trading partner with, in the worst cases, a number of UK SMEs going out of business; the loss of EU immigrant workers from the NHS and others who picked our fruit and veg.
Your question has been asked many times before and used to result in those of us who voted Remain being called "Remoaners" by Brexiteers, along with their "We won, get over it" mantra. I have a recent recollection of one Brexiteer member, Bencr85, admitting that they made a mistake by voting to leave the EU; however, whilst they bravely and openly accepted their error, they're no more capable than me or you of giving an example of a Brexit benefit. In the meantime, all other Brexiteers appear to have gone silent.
