I read posts on here asking for clarity about the entry rules into Spain, but no-one saying that they will not follow them. So you have seen some people, who speak English, pulling their masks down on public transport and that prompts you to say the British think themselves above the law? Sounds ...

...like you've got a anti-British bias to me.

Sounds very much like some of the Ex Pats,or English Migrants as some have been called can’t wait to have a dig at the U.K.Why is it that there are no restriction on Europeans staying as long as they like in the U.K.,and remember us English can be deported out of Spain for the slightest thing,we are only guests.

European citizens cannot stay in the UK as long as they like.Without a visa/permission to stay they are limited to 180 days in 12 months. The UK government signed up for this because they did not want to negotiate any different time.

My friends live on one of the Greek Islands but still have a house in the U.K. and sometimes stay in the U.K. for up to 8 months and have never been stopped when leaving for over staying, maybe the British Passport control don’t bother that much.

Unfortunately the English are probably the only people on the planet that don’t have their own country printed on the front of their passports, instead of England it’s Great Britain. When people used to come to our embassy in Thailand they could not understand why it was they were going to England but it was not on their visas or passports.

That being the case neither do the Scottish, Welsh or Northern Irish. That's why it's referred to the 'disunited kingdom'. Even the citizens don't know where they belong to!
