Jabs were paid by all UK nationals through national insurance contributions.

I didn't pay for my jabs here in Spain either 🥱

You really need to think about things before ranting on and on....

I was born in the UK, raised in Gibraltar. Return to UK to enlist in the Army, got disabled whilst serving, discharged, with nothing, no further support, despite promise after promise from HMG, my country gave up on me, treated me like crap, so when I could, I left, don’t regret it. So way do think I should be great full for what it did to me.

It´s best not to generalize. For me (personally), eg: Born in Europe, (still do). Over a third of my adult  life I still do, in the same town. Our extended family as well. We do not feel we have deserted our respective countries, but have seen only political, economic & recent changes of our lives.

So when did you last pay NI, and when you came here did you get your health cover from the Spanish or did you have to pay,and if you did it was nothing like what your NI came to did it.When you are sent here by one government to another I got everything that the Spanish get the day I arrived this is the difference between governments that things happen when it suits.

Hi I’m sorry you got disabled but you must have thought something about your country to have gone to war.If it helps you there are certain websites you can go to that will now get what you are entitled to,I think there is a veteran site if it helps you, good luck.

You and your family abandoned your home country, the country that you were born...so you can step down off your high horse.

When did you pay any contributions to your home country?

I paid my NI contributions to the UK up until I retired and came to live in Spain. Those contributions were put towards the healthcare I am entitled to get here in Spain as are Spanish nationals entitled to get in the UK under the reciprocal agreements.

So sorry StevenH,my brother was injured in the Thai Army fighting the Muslims in Moro Southern Thailand that were crossing into my country trying to bully the Thai into Islam, it was our family that supported him,it’s so sad when you’ve gone out of your way to fight for your country and then this happens.Good luck for the future.

I don’t know if you’ve been following this conversation but we were sent to Spain by our Embassy, but for someone who says they were lucky, no where near as lucky as us,we were given everything that the top Spanish had, unlike you that worked hard we were given it for free.So as for abandoning my country we didn’t,you did.
