HI
Has anyone been able to contact Ryanair and had it confirmed that they can now fly to Spain with their Padron certificate and or proof of purchase of their Spanish home?
I don't want to fork out approx £300 on Oct and flights available to get refused entry at the gate?? Ryanair can be so frustrating at times!!
Thanks in advance.
Mark

Ryanair don't make the rules, they only enforce them. Nobody knows what the regulations will be a month from now, and October is a long way off.

Hi Mark I think you might have to think again about travelling to Spain even though we own our property in Spain we are not allowed to travel the only way you will be able to get in is to show proof you have permanent residence and live there full time hopefully next couple of months things might start to look a little better cheers Marcus

Hi Marcus

I have a certificate stating that Resedencia has been granted. I couldn’t get back in Jan because I caught Covid!!
I’m under pressure to get back and have my fingerprints done to complete my Resedencia.  The Spanish government changed the rules for UK nationals on 15th Feb (see attached) although it’s not yet shown up on the airlines sites yet.
Ryanair have flights every Sun from Stansted.  With the pcr test hotel, train etc to get there the flight would cost me around £400 one way!!
I may book the flight anyway you can change for free until March 31st.
I’m sure and hoping some some people have taken advantage of the new rules, just wanted it confirming
Thanks Mark

Hi Mark you are good to go this should help

On 22 December 2020, Spain introduced travel restrictions on passenger travel from the UK by air and sea. These measures have been extended until 6pm (GMT+1) on 16 March 2021 (5pm / GMT in the Canary Islands), with the exception of Spanish nationals and those legally resident in Spain.

International transit through Spanish airports by passengers on flights departing from the UK is permitted on presentation of a negative PCR, TNA or LAMP test taken within no more than 72 hours prior to arrival into Spain. See Transiting Spain

If you are resident in Spain, you should carry your residence document (the green paper EU residence certificate or the new TIE), as well as your valid passport when you travel. If you are not in possession of a residence document, the Spanish government has formally confirmed to the UK government that UK nationals who were legally residing in Spain before 1 January 2021, and as such are beneficiaries of the Withdrawal Agreement, can present other documents to prove their residence status when entering Spain. See Additional Requirements for UK Nationals resident in Spain for further information.

Good luck Marcus
