The easiest way is to make your way to Torrevieja bus station and get a coach to Benidorm. There is no train service.

Are there any local companies that do day trips? If so that would be easier.

Check out

www.viajesrosatours.com

Or search Rosa tours

They are very good and have local pickup points to you. Take a good look at their website.

With Rosas, you can book two day trips - one for the day you want to go and the other for the day you want to come back. Just let them know you’re not doing the return journeys. They do have  trips with overnight stays as well with the hotel provided.

Just plan carefully as the trips don’t run every day this time of the year. A lot of hotels, bars, restaurants closed at the moment as Jan/Feb are the quietest months. But there’s still more than enough choice.

Rudgie I too am in Los Balcones. We regularly go into Benidorm for 2 nights. We use Rosa's Tours. They pick us up about 8.30am from the Bus Stop down outside the farmacia by the roundabout heading to the Filton Centre. (Oppsite Goya Bar)

They usually run on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays it's 12euro return for a day trip, but you contact them and state you wish to stay and come back on another day, you just pay twice so its 24 euro return.

They drop you back to where they pick you up. It's a great service
