Apartment/house and contents insurance

Hello. We are in the process of buying a 1st floor bungalow apartment and wondered if anyone had any recommendations for Spanish/British companies to use for house and contents insurance ? Is it a complex thing as we will be non residents and is empty house insurance also advisable as it may be empty for short periods?

Congratulations on your purchase and I hope you have many Happy 😊 Holidays in it,

My Solicitors arrange my Apartment insurance through Liberty, 128 for year,,There is plenty online here, but please read small print, as too what is covered and what is not,I would go through a English speaking Broker who should explain everything to you and conversation are recorded nowadays,

My policy has 6000 euros to remove unoccupied visitors which is a Problem here.

Hi Fran,

We bought our Home Insurance (a combined buildings and contents policy) through Jennifer Cunningham Insurance Agents. Our policy is provided by Liberty Seguros and we've been very pleased with the cost of cover and their responseness to claims.
