Exactly wouldn't trust or believe a single word Johnson or any of his cronies said.

Absolutely, if we had the likes of Captain Highsight, Angela Raynor, Diana Abbott Lisa Nandy, God the list goes on, would have been much better, well funny at least.. 😉 😁 😃 🤩

I fail to see what these people mentioned have to do with another potential lockdown in UK ,unless they have switched sides on the quiet ,anyway the person responsible for that decision and so many other calamities  is due to give a speech  today ,no doubt we will hear more Pearl's of wisdom and riddles from him but sense NO

But John, I thought you lived in Scotland, surely your rules are set by Ms Sturgeon not Boris?

Doesn't matter where people  live Aitch ,I'm interested in competent politicians ,not them that hide behind charades and dont forget their decisions affect all of our lives ,dont forget the growth of food banks have come about during the Tories time in power ,regarding Sturgeon  theres no doubt she is a good talker ,but she has done nothing for Scotland  she has aligned herself with the Green party to give herself absolute power ,she is obsessed with making Scotland independent, she should put her energies in to making Scotland better and giving its citizens a better future

I agree John, but don't forget the Labour party have being voting for all the lockdowns and have gone along with more or less everything the idiot has done. In fact, although I can't stand this Tory government. Starmer would have us in plan B or worse now. They are all utterly useless and couldn't run a childs party. Why people can't see whats been going on is beyond me. The poor are about to get much poorer and the people in the middle even worse. The rich it won't touch.

The increase on National insurance is a tax on workers and employers. How will that help the economy? People need more money in their pockets to spend and boost the economy, not flatten it or destroy it.

Where would you suggest the Government finds the funds for adult social care and much needed monies for the NHS...

Maybe they should take back the money they gave to non qualified  companies regarding the disastrous test and trace debacle not remove the £20 from people unfortunate not to be in work for various reasons from their inadequate PIP payments ,these people were already struggling to make ends meet never mind the increase in the cost of living and the increase in domestic fuel costs to remove the £20 is criminal

I agree with everything you say ,what is really disappointing is that Starmer  has not been able to eat into the Tory lead in the polls especially with the unsatisfactory Tory handling of Covid ,the hopeless performance of Johnson ,the crisis with rising fuel costs domestic and pump prices and shortage of lorry drivers
