The Uk had the sense to order the vaccines way before the EU it’s called forward thinking and business.
Your obviously upset that the UK left the European Union and has done better with the vaccines. Deal with it.

Yes...the EU should have never provided the UK with millions of vaccines, while the UK did not provide any UK country with any vaccine. What a disgrace...
I don't understand your point about the UK not providing any UK country with vaccines?
Aitch.

the UK not providing any vaccines to the EU.....but the EU provided millions of vaccines to the UK....AstraZeneca then also did NOT fulfil its EU contracts, but yes its UK contracts....that is the point.....

You surely remember that the UK was a falling country and terribly poor, with thousands of people sleeping under bridges, when they entered the EU? I do, as was often in the UK and totally shocked about the poverty and terrible state of maintenance.....Tatcher was clever to guide you into the EU, and in order to "eat from both sides" also criticised it, and you surfed on the EU to become better off, and did to some extend, and then started crying....and manipulating people with lies to leave the EU...what is there to deal with?

The EU did not have any contracts with the UK for vaccines.

I am presuming GEERT is saying AstraZeneca as UK, because that is who defaulted on the contract to supply the EU but continued supplying the UK........
So why has AstraZeneca agreed to publish the contract if there wasn't one.
'Following the renewed request from the European Commission on 27 January 2021, pharmaceutical company AstraZeneca has agreed to publish the redacted contract signed between the two parties on 27 August 2020.
The Commission welcomes the company's commitment towards more transparency in its participation in the rollout of the EU Vaccines Strategy.
Transparency and accountability are important to help build the trust of European citizens and to make sure that they can rely on the effectiveness and safety of the vaccines purchased at the EU level.
The Commission hopes to be able to publish all contracts under the Advance Purchase Agreements in the near future.
The contract published today contains redacted parts pertaining to confidential information such as details of invoices. The AstraZeneca contract is the second one to be published, after CureVac has agreed to publish the Advance Purchase Agreement with the European Commission.'

I'm glad you know what he means. The contract was between the EU and AZ, nothing to do with the UK government.
