Malta now has the fastest rate in the EU, with a seven-day average of 1.31 doses per 100 people every day, compared to 0.71 in the UK.
Other countries like Germany, Spain, Portugal and Belgium are also vaccinating at a faster pace than Britain'
Hopefully a good sign
Well of course they are, some nations are so far behind they have to finally catch up.
At our vaccination centre on Friday the6 average age would have been early 20s but most I saw were late teens! We as a family parents both fully vaccinated, and child has her first and she’s in her 20s, that would be a rarity in Spain.
As for the comments on Malta, frankly that island could be done in a week! and we in the U.K. have given some 600,000 plus on Saturday and it’s going well thankfully with over 20 million of a population of 60 plus million FULLY VACCINATED and so many others that equates to near 60 million doses fairly soon, so whilst it may look good the EU COCKED UP. Sadly we have a huge resistance to vaccination in ethnic groups and that will remain a problem, but nobody wins until we are all done and even then deaths will still happen it’s nature.
