Hi, we're planning to move to the Valencia region from Mallorca.

Are there British expats in the Ontinyent area?

Yes, there are a good number of British immigrants in this area, along with Belgian, Dutch and Germans, to name a few.

I would suggest you join the Ontinyent Facebook group which is very informative. If you are looking for a property locally it is handy to know that this Facebook group is administered by an excellent local Estate Agent.
