I have just arrived and am currently in Denia. I'm feeling a bit overwhelmed at the moment and don't know where to start with regards getting residency. Who do you see first? Do you get a solicitor in the place you're staying in or the place you're buying in? I don't know where to settle yet, but I know it will be inland somewhere.
If you are a UK passport holder you need to acquire the NLV in the UK first, if you already have the NLV or are an EU passport holder contact a gestor to help with your residency.

The best person to talk to, is the lawyer, Antonio, based in Pego, at the Mapfre office 965570400. He will guide you through the best course of action to take. His English is perfect (if required).
