I have a Spanish will which is kept in my Solicitors offices.  I pay a fee of around 180 euros a year for this and also for calculating my annual none residents tax.  I am thinking of using a different company to do my none residents tax but I am not too sure what should happen with my will?  Can anyone offer me some advice please

Hello

There's no reason for your solicitor to be holding your will.

Your Will gets sent to a center in Madrid to be stored and when you pass away, someone in your family will have to go to the Notary and ask for a Certificado de Ultimas Voluntades which is your very last Will.

You also should have a few copies (I do) and pass them round your family whoever you have left things to.

Get your Will back from him and use a Gestor to do your taxes etc.  It will be cheaper.

Hope this helps you.

Sue 😘
