After thw first war, the Germans were forced to pay reparations to the victorious allies. As the years rolled by the impoverished Germans sought a scapgoat. Yes - the Jews. No they didn't care about Jewish opinion and what was the result? I don't need to say anymore. It is DANGEROUS not to listen...

... to the opinions of others. Please heed and learn. It is so sad that humans don't live long enough to gain real wisdom.

Oh why dont you shut up too. What an absolute exaggeration. What is wrong with you lot, seriously! Bringing up Germans and the Jews, for god sake get a bloody grip will you. Loosen up and liven up before you all die of doom and gloom. I've never heard such a miserable, boring bunch of people in my whole life. You would take the sun out of the sky if you could just for everyone's life to be even darker 👥

I have listened endlessly to the miserable, moaning, we are all doomed comments from you all. Not one positive word from any of you. Im a very up lifted positive person and couldnt think of anything worse than being in a room LISTENING to the remoaners dronning on and on about Brexit.

What about the boarders. What about the pensions. What if the sky falls in. Please breath. Get a grip

I am seeing two camps here.

1. People trying to wrestle with difficult and multifaceted issues, as Parliament is doing right now

2. Xenophobes, conspiracy theorists, people who haven't absorbed new information since 2016, and what sniffs of a bit of thinly-veiled racism.

Not difficult to work out which is which.

All we Brits in Spain are immigrants.

Yes I have to agree with you. If you read the quality of the posts alone without trying to disect them, the difference is striking. God help us!

This is some thread, brilliant in its supidity at times. My personal favourite is from immigrants in Spain complaining about immigration in UK!!

You could not mark their necks with a blow torch .

Now, how do you like your gammon ?

Liberal democracy's a brilliant concept until you realise that the inherent flaw is as follows:

The average person, sadly isn't that bright.

And that's the "average" person.

49% (by definition) are even more stupid than that.

And when they get together in large numbers to "voice their opinion" as they did with the Brexit referendum...it can have very serious negative "real world" implications for the rest of us...

This post that was quoted has been deleted.

Cathy, even if you are legally resident in Spain, do you depend on an inevitably shrinking income from the UK ?
