Hi

I am having trouble with Duetsche Bank transferring money I have inherited into my account in another bank.   They asked for paperwork from my bank which l gave to them over fourteen days ago, along with everything else they needed. When I handed the paperwork to them, I was advised it would take a week to transfer the money.  I contacted them at the end of the week when I checked to see if the money had been transfer and found it had not.  I was then told it would now take two weeks, there seems to be no end to their delay tactics.  It has taken over a year to get this far and I am still experiencing problems with Duetsche Bank.

I cannot find a complaints form on their site and I have spent some time looking.  Has anyone had a similar experience with this bank.

In the UK this can be completed in 2 hours but usually takes 3 days much less than the Duetsche Bank, I really do not know how they were voted the best for customer service in Spain.

Hi  Thanks for the contact information.  I have found several email addresses and phone numbers for customer service.  Somewhere on their web site they have a complaints form which you can fill in and send straight to the main office for complaints.  I cannot find it now, I used it last year when I was in England and got fast results from the bank.  This is what I was hoping to find out about and where I can locate it.

Thank You again

Hello

A couple of Christmas's ago, ( before I opened a Wise account) I tried to transfer some money from DB to  my daughters Credit Union  acct. in  Orlando Florida .  It never arrived , & after much investigation on the part of both my  bank & CU, it was declared lost!

My bank were helpful but everyhing took quite some time & eventually I was refunded the full amount. With Wise.com my bank transfers happen within 1/2 days according to time difference.

Hope you resolve your problem with DB

Cheers

I had a similar problem with Barclays some years back. A significant sum sent them I only got in to my account after proving that Barclays bank in fact  had recieved the money a month ago. I never got any apologie, and changed bank shortly thereafter. It looks to me that banks in Spain in general don't make much effort to satisfy common customers.

Hello All

I am going to send a complaint regarding my money transfer as Duetsche have had it for over a year now.  It has been one thing after another regarding paperwork they have requested and I have provided.  The last being the Original Bank Certificate from my bank showing my account number etc.  They said once they had that it would be one week to transfer, well that was misinformation on their part as its now been over two weeks and still no transfer.   I am also receiving no response from the staff in the local branch from emails I am sending them regarding the transfer.

I will keep you updated.
