This is good news ... lack of EHICs shouldn't be a problem.

We had the AZ vaccines. Our printed appointments say that we will receive the Pfizer booster.

Hi Kelvin,

Our appointment slips also suggested we were to have Pfizer boosters this morning - I meant to ask, but forgot.  Once our records are updated online, I'll download new Covid certificates, which should confirm what we received.

Kind regards,

Kim

Thanks Kelvin.  Hubby and I (64 and 61) went to our local health centre in Rojales yesterday and have booster appointments for Friday morning this week.

Like you, we have private health insurance, but don't have valid EHICs.  For our original vaccinations, our health centre didn't issue temporary SIP cards, but when we presented our SIP numbers this time for the booster jabs, we were given a registration form, "Part of health care to pe...

Best wishes,

Kim

Hi Kim ...I don't understand all this ...I am 70. And have a booster appointment in cabo roig  H C  for the 3rd  of march. This clinic is disgraceful.

Others appointments at Cabo Roig HC are in April for both flu and Covid booster. Though what good a flu vaccination in April does escapes me.

Just as a post script from figures compiled by the Spanish National Statistics Institute on the best area in Spain to live Valencia is ranked 12th out of 17 it takes into account disposable income available, population at risk of poverty, inequality to highlight a few. A very poor ranking for Valencia but it does not surprise me in the slightest.

I've downloaded our Covid certificates and they have been.updated to show 3 of 3 doses, with the booster being Pfizer (our original 2 were AZ).

Kind regards,

Kim

My wife and I (63 & 61) were given appointments today (15/12) for 5th Jan 22.

We do not qualify for Spanish NHS. We have private health insurance.

We went to our local health centre and presented

- our TIEs

- our EHICs

- the temporary SIP cards (now out-of-date) that we were given in support of the first two vaccinations

- our Padrons (which had to be less than a month old).

We were given new temporary SIP cards (valid until May 22), and our appointments.

The rationale on the appointment is "over 60 or Janssen".

Our Padrons and the old SIP cards were retained.

Hope this info is useful.

Wow think your all lucky went to make appointment at Cabo Roig, for a booster and my appointment isn't till April 6 th, and I'm 74.

Worrying. Jean

According to the latest information Spain is now having to open up its vaccination centres it used for the 1st and 2nd doses. The EU have forced Spains hand thank goodness by saying that from the 1st Feb 2022 the Covid Passport we need to travel and get into bars and restaurants will only last 9 months from the date of the last vaccination. Seems it's given the authorities here the much needed kick up the backside they needed to give residents their Boosters.

Seems we will be informed of our appointments the same way we were advised of out 1st and 2nd vaccinations. Allegedly.

Thanks for you reply, yes I agree they needed that kick up the backside, the saying really is true 'manana', but Covid won't wait!

Merry Christmas Jean
