Thanks for the reply Yvonne, I knew Terry from our many visits, I am sorry to hear he has died, Terry used to keep an eye on our house in Calle Boj and I would bring him something when we visited. I tried to phone him, I knew he was a bit deaf and sometimes didn't hear the phone but after many calls with no answer I reached out. Anyway, thanks again for telling us.

The reason I asked is that I would feel happier if somebody could have a quick look at our house, just to check nothing untoward has happened. Or maube you could put me in touch with a Neighbour ?

We will arrive soon in Campoverde, our Daughter had Chemo plus the op and now she is on radiation, but prognosis is favourable so we are happy as hell.

Pls pop any post into a bag and throw it over the wall if we are not there - thanks.

We are not in Campoverde at the moment and will not be there until the beginning of September,  I have your post in a bag in our house there.  I was waiting to hear from you if you want, I can wrap it up and throw it over your wall when I get there.  You will have loads more when you get there.  It looks like general post i.e. confirmation of standing orders etc (I have not opened them).  

I am so glad your daughter is responding to the treatment and hope she has a long and healthy life.

Hello Yvonne, we got here at last, I see Terry's house is for sale, it's a pity his Family didn't want to use it.

All the post you saw sticking out of the letterbox would be reminders to pay water, electric and Suma. We were puzzled why the Deutsche Bank had not taken care of these payments as they have done for over 20 years but when we visited the Deutsche Bank in Pilar they told us our account had been blocked because we did not attend to provide copies of passports every five years. I explained we did attend 4 years ago and provided our new address as well, blank look from DB employee, I asked why did they not contact us ?, they did but at our old address, another blank look. I asked why did they not reply to my letter when a wire transfer was refused and returned, ? another blank look. We since opened an account with Santander, they speak good English and seem to be customer oriented, the Deutsche Bank used to be like that but since Marina Bolt retired they have slumped down. I asked the Deutsche Bank Head office in Germany about the poor performance of Pilar branch and they told me," it's nothing to do with us, DB Spain is a separate entity."  The Deutsche Bank in Pilar is getting refurbished at the moment, they need to get staff who look after the Customers !
