We have tiny little black "ants" in our kitchen. They are maybe a quarter of the size of a British ant. They appear on our worktops when we start to prepare food. We leave no food out, and wash the work surfaces after use. I don't recall having these little visitors last year.

We have emptied and disinfected the cupboards, disinfected all the surfaces, floor etc.
We have applied "Ant Death" powder and left it in place for a few weeks (while we went back to the UK) - they survived.
Has anybody conquered these little critters, and if so, how ?

My Husband put ordinary table salt in the areas they covered.
as he pointed out, that is how he got rid of ants at home.
Could not believe it they hate it and have only had a few return so more salt !!!
Try it, nothing to loose...only those horrible ants !
