hi all looking for a gas boiler service by a licensed company has anyone any companies you can recommend. thanks

See my earlier comments on this issue. Most probably the rubber membrane in the gas trigger unit needs to be replaced. However, the mechanic will tell you that your equipment is oudated, and buing a new is a better choice. That way he'll make more money for less work.

Antoni wasn’t asking for an online fault diagnosis or to be told that a mechanic will likely try to get him to buy a new appliance, he was simply asking if anybody could was able to advise on getting a gas boiler serviced by a licensed company?!

Hopefully somebody can provide him with a recommendation from somebody they have used for this very purpose
