Hi, my fire tv stick has stopped working! I have checked the power lead and HDMI socket all O.K. Unplugged and 're-plugged power, still nothing. Can anyone(business or clever bugger) please help. Many thanks.

Hi Chef Terry first of all I’m not being sarcastic 😊 but have you checked the batteries in the remote control? The reason I mention this is our Firestick suddenly wouldn’t work, nothing at all when we tried the buttons on the remote. We did everything that you mentioned, then as a last resort changed the batteries and we were back on! Hope it’s something as simple as that.

Thanks for your reply, checked batteries but tv still says "no signal" as the stick won't power on.

Hya have you tried unplugging it from the plug and using the tv to power the stick?

Hope this helps

If I have any problems with our firestick I just type it in my computer google bar and ask for what your problem is with step by step instructions and have always found a way out of any problems and trust me I am an old technophobe, hope this helps
