Wise is enough. No need to open a spanish bank account. Get a EUR account, of course.

Hi Paul

Within a single wise account, you can have your UK income paid in just like any UK bank. You can then convert that money into euros in a matter of seconds. You then set up your DDs using the IBAN associated with your euros, not the one associated with your UK sterling.

You can get a debit card as well, which you can use to withdraw pounds or euros as appropriate.

It's very simple and clear once you have registered. I suggest you register and then pay in a few quid so you can see how it works.

Cheers

PS you can use Wise to pay your UK DDs as well

Hi Steve, you have been a solid source of information to me.

Can you please tell me how I can find the Iban number of my wise Euro account ?

I have a card and using it at the moment with no problems, however now looking at setting up a few DD's.

Thanks again for all your posts, don't know where I would be without them.

Hi Lammy, and thank you!

Login to the app, then click on the EU flag (where it shows your Euro balance). Then click on "show account details".

Simples!
