Does anyone know how I go about contacting the town hall to set up a direct debit for my local tax (Al Andalus Playa Flamenca)? I am trying to close my Caixa bank account and have managed to move all my direct debits to Wise bar this one.
You don't contact the town hall, you contact SUMA which is the company set up to collect municipal taxes in the Alicante Province.
If you have a municipal tax bill (IBI or council tax, car tax or whatever) you will have a CSV number or bill reference number to quote.
You can also do it by phone (965 292 000) or just go into your SUMA office and they will change all your municipal direct debits in one go.
