Hi, we are in the process of finalising a property purchase in Playa Flamenca, close to La Zenia Boulevard. We're finding it difficult to find a supplier for Fibre Optic Broadband. We can only seem to find non Fibre broadband. Thanks in advance!

Hi, we have recently moved to Playa Flamenca and have gone with TV Horadada for their fibre only package. They have a small shop in the boulevard by Alcampo supermarket. We will be paying €24 a month for 50mb unlimited. We only went there as they provide the fibre in our street.

Hope this helps, Martin.

It’s also worth contacting Olé Comunicacion. Based in La Zenia just off the N332 opposite Consum. Email them with your address and they’ll tell you whether they have fibre in your street. If they have, you pop in with your NIE, Passport and bank details and they’ll arrange installation.

I ordered on the Tuesday lunchtime and it was installed Thursday morning.

Good luck in getting it sorted.

Hi, your post is very interesting, please can you advise the cost of your package please, so that we can have an idea too? Also, don't suppose if you know if there are packages out there that will switch on and off, as we will be using it when we are on holiday or if have friends staying.

Look forward to your reply.

Thank you

My internet and tv package with Olé is €25 per month. Installation was about €150. This allows you to switch off for 3 months in any 12. They also offer an on/off package. The monthly charge was higher so you have to do your sums to see whether it’s worth it based on how often you are over. I decided the saving wasn’t worth the hassle.

Touch wood, I have been really pleased with the reliability and speed.

This post that was quoted has been deleted.

I have been with all of them over the last 20 years, have settled with Tv Horadada, no more phone calls re crap down-load speed & false promises, I used to tear my hair out, I am now a happy bunny. PS most of my  street in Playa Flamenca have changed to them!!
