Registered for covid vaccine

Hi

Myself and my partner registered yesterday at Cabo roig for the vaccine.

Went with resolution papers, padron and Ehic.

All went smoothly and have been issued a temporary sip card.

Had to go and buy a Spanish sim (as only Spanish numbers can be used).

Activated sim and was expecting a sms to say we are the system but have had nothing.
Is this normal as we do not want to miss out when it is our turn!

Thank you for your post and well done to you, one question is, Was you asked to provide/show your EHIC card as mine is out of date as I have private health insurance. Stay safe and healthy.

They did not ask to see my private insurance card, so not sure where you stand with that.

Luckily mine is still in date.

I think if you have got your temp. SIP cards, that is your proof of registration. With my years of experience here in Spain, I wouldnt have any expectations of an email confirmation haha....I think you will be fine & contacted when your appt is available.

I went to clinic yesterday and same thing. Was given a temporary SIP until 30/3 when my EHIC expires. Will need to investigate further. I have residency and Private Healthcare.

hi tracey  im not sure if your in same position as myself im a resident just got tie under pension age with private health insurance.  we laso live 03189 los altos so come under cabo roig can you tell me did you have to make an appointment first to get your temporary tie or just went on spec and also can you confirm the address of the one you attended .

Was your Spanish number registered by the centro de Salud? If so, it should be fine. If you got the Spanish SIM afterwards you need to let them know your new mobile number.
